Friday 22nd January 2021

Good afternoon everyone, I hope that you are all well. I know that many of you have logged into Tapestry as our learning platform and are completing lots of work at home with your children, so a huge thank you from all of us.

However, there may be some of you struggling to upload a photo example of your child's work so I wanted to share with you this video I found on you tube. I hope it helps, if you are still struggling do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you,

Sue Belcher

Tapestry for parents/relatives: Adding an observation

This video runs through how as a parent or relative on Tapestry you can add your own observations of your children.

Friday 2nd October 2020

Welcome to our 'Tapestry' information page. For those of you are new to our school, or new to 'Tapestry' I would like to share with you a little piece of information about it.

Tapestry is an online learning journal. We initially started it in Beech class as a way to record progress and achievements of our youngest children. However, we extended the use of it during lockdown so that all staff and pupils had access to it. In this way we could offer support with learning and links that would be useful as well as send memos to groups and individuals.

To activate your account we will send you a link via email. You will then be able to activate your account. You will be able see things the children have achieved in school. We would like to use this as a shared tool and are happy for you to publish things your child has achieved or experienced at home for example celebrating a special birthday or a video of them learning to swim, or reading to you at home.

Sometimes, we may upload group observations that may include other children. Please do not share this on any social media platform.

We look forward to seeing any posts that you may wish to share. Please be assured that they are private between you and the class teachers, no other parents can see them.

Thank you

Susan Belcher
