Cross Country finals 

Thurdsay 24th November 2023

18 children from across KS2 qualified through the cluster event to attend the West Norfolk finals held at Alive Lynn Sport. 
super proud of each and every one of them for their perseverance, support for each other and positive attitude to complete the course on a cold winter morning.

Marshland Cluster Cross Country Event 8th November 2022


A fantastic morning at the cluster cross country we had 32 children take part racing against the other cluster schools. 
Perseverance, determination, supportive and fun.
Lots of fantastic personal achievements. Now looking forward to taking the qualifiers to the West Norfolk ssp finals in a couple of weeks.

All the children had a super time, building relationships, having loads of fun and oh yea eating LOTS! πŸ˜‚

It was a pleasure to experience this life experience with these children many overcoming personalities fears, new challenges and sharing experiences.

September 2022

Another inspiring day for our children ks2 all taking part in workshops to improve skills, gain confidence and challenge themselves in performing  tricks on BMX bikes. Lots of fun and laughs had along with some serious concentration.

Some pupils were then selected to showcase their new learnt skills to the rest of the school along with a trick demonstration from Mike himself. 
All I can say is AMAZING! 
What a memorable day.

West Norfolk SSP Dance Show at the Kings Lynn Corn Exchange

Super well done to all our dance children who had a fantastic time taking part in the West Norfolk SsP dance show at the corn exchange. 
You should all be immensely proud,
You were all amazing. 
Also thank you to Zoe Bull for helping our little ones enjoy dance and performing on a big stage what an achievement for them.

Sports week

All classes learnt about the commonwealth games. 

Then we started off with a day of with a fun filled day of archery. 
All year groups got to take part in archery sessions the older ones proper archery then ks1 got to have a go at soft tip archery. 
they all thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a fantastic day, the weather was beautiful sunshine.

Lots of smiles and fun was had by all the children

from nursery to year 6 and even some staff bouncing outside.

Extra curricular after school clubs are back 

Fantastic to see 28 children from reception to year 6 taking part in the first dance club session with Zoe. 

The first group of children came to a wonderful fun filled evening of games club

with Mrs Hayes and Miss Williams.

What a fantastic end to the spring term.

Year 6 young leaders supported by year 5 planned and delivered activities around different sports to be accessible to all the children from Reception to Year 6.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. It was wonderful to see the whole school out together; learning, having fun, mixing together and helping each other.     😊 βš½οΈπŸˆπŸƒπŸƒπŸΌ‍β™€οΈπŸπŸ˜Š

Scooters and Skateboarding 

Whole school Enrichment day

Friday 11th March 2022

Ryan from Team Rubicon treated the whole school to a skateboard demonstration and talk,to inspire them to be determined and persevere. But above all have fun in their class sessions, which were held throughout the day from Nursery all the way through to year 6. 
Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & 2 all really enjoyed themselves and had a go at scootering.

Years 3,4,5 & 6 all got to try out skateboarding and learning tricks.
Some very excited, some a little nervous but all came away having helped each other achieve and have fun.

Active Kids Festival January 2022

The year 1 and 2 children from Oak class had the opportunity to go to Alive Lynn Sport to take part in activities related to Gymnastics. We all had a super morning with lots of smiles and exemplary behaviour, practicing and learning skills in a variety of activities. 🀸🀸🏼‍♀️

18 children from ks2 qualified to take part and run their best to become on of the top cross country runners for their age in West Norfolk!
We are so proud of each and every one of you for trying your hardest, achieving personal goals and supporting each other. 

A very special mention to Lenny from year 6 who lead his race from the start to finish in first position.

lots of fun was had the first coach trip with the school for many of the children.

We are going to see if we can travel the 47,439KM from London to Tokyo. 

Whatever activity you do it all counts from 10 minutes to 3 hours we want you to add it to your class.
