Finance Assistant / School Administrator

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Finance/ Administration Assistant with excellent organisational skills and ICT expertise to provide effective day to day administration of the school’s finances and human resources. The role includes maintaining and inputting data onto the school's computerised financial and HR management systems, bank reconciliations, and ensuring that information is up to date, accurate and complies with relevant legislation and policy.

The  School Administrator will be required to work flexibly with the Head Teacher to ensure that duties are carried out efficiently and effectively. Duties vary but include school finance, human resources, general administration and pastoral tasks. They will often be the first person children, parents and visitors meet when arriving at our school and will be expected to promote and model the values and ethos of our school.

We are looking for an individual with: 
- Previous experience of working with finance and HR administration
- A good level of knowledge of English; both written and verbal 
- Good communication skills 
- Strong organisational and time keeping skills 
- A willingness to get involved 
- An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A sense of humour
